stick (verb) ATTACH (verb) ATTACH THE LABEL TO THE SURFACE. Stick the label to the surface.
FREELY (adverb) MAKE SURE THAT THE FAN BLADES MOVE FREELY. Check that the fan blades do not stick.
CATCH (verb) REMOVE ALL JEWELRY THAT CAN CATCH IN THE MACHINE. Remove all jewelry that can get stuck in the machine.
sticky (adjective) TACKY (adjective) WHEN THE CEMENT IS TACKY, PUT THE PATCH ON THE SURFACE. Put the patch on the surface when the cement is sticky.
stiff (adjective) MOVE (verb) IF THE PISTON DOES NOT MOVE EASILY IN THE SLEEVE, DO A DIMENSIONAL INSPECTION OF THE PARTS. If the piston is stiff, check the dimensions of the piston and sleeve.
still (adverb) STAY (verb) MAKE SURE THAT THE “OVHT” LIGHT STAYS ON. Make sure that the “OVHT” light is still illuminated.
CONTINUE (verb) MAKE SURE THAT THE ROTOR CONTINUES TO TURN. Make sure that the rotor still turns.
stimulate (verb) INCREASE (verb) INCREASE THE AIRFLOW. Stimulate the airflow.
stir (verb) MIX (verb) MIX THE BONDING MATERIAL WITH A SPATULA. Stir the bonding material with a spatula.
STOP (verb) , STOPS, STOPPED, STOPPED 1. To cause the end of a procedure, movement, or an operation STOP THE ENGINE.
